As typical of a Thriller Film a male audience is greater attracted, with 386,309 of the votes being cast by men shows that alot more men have rated this film this which is fairly predictable, men have rated it at 8.9 on average which is pretty high which seems to suggets they enjoyed it. A  58,946 females and rated this film and have rated it at 8.8 which means they must of enjoyed the film to a high degree 0.1% less then men even though less ratings have been cast by women this shows that women have still seen The Dark Knight and have enjoyed it even though it is not predominantly aimed at women. Alot more votes were casted by the age bracket 18-29 this shows that alot more 18-29 year olds have rated this film which means that more 18-29 year olds are likely to have sen this film than that of the under 18's,30-44 & 45+ brackets this is most likely to be the case due to the fact that previous Batman films were brough out around 10 years ago which is when the 18-29 year olds would of seen and grown up with Batman films,tv programs and comics.

The Dark Knight was rated Highest by males under 18 even though they were a small percentage of the ratings this data shows that they enjoyed Batman just as much as the 18-29 year olds who grew up with it which means that Batman still has interest from the younger audience.
