Among Rotten Tomatoes' Top Critics, which consists of popular and notable critics from the top newspapers, websites, television and radio programs,the film holds an overall approval rating of 79%, based on a sample of 38 reviews. Empire magazine gave it 5/5 whilst the New York Post gave it 4 stars. People have praise Inception for its "innovative and smart story" and the cast, musical score and exciting action scenes.
